Goodbye Birmingham

So I have said goodbye to my home city Birmingham and have said hello to Weymouth for a week. Me, Tyler, mother, nan, great uncle as gone away for a week. We met my brother and his partner down here, but they are only staying till Wednesday due to work commitments. But we have all come down for my nan's birthday. My partner was going to come down but due to money issues he couldn't. So my nan and her brother went by coach, national express while me mother drove me and Tyler down. Tyler enjoyed the journey. We made one stop for his bottle and nappy change.

Tomorrow I will tell you about the house we are staying in. It's very lovely.

We have channels

So today we got Virgin media fitted in, the full package, TV, phone line and broadband. So I can finally start doing some more blogs and watch TV. Before we moved in we was watching Breaking Amish LA on TLC. I have missed two episodes and really hoping could watch on catch up but dealt it. So I'm excited to watch that.

I am also excited to get broadband again as I like using Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. Also I like to start up a business again on etsy, even if I didn't sell anything before, but I want to really try this time. Especially once I got the house in order. As everything is everywhere. Tyler room has been painted but needs touch ups. Then we need to get carpet for upstairs and the stairs. We are hoping we can get laminate flooring downstairs, but we have to write a letter to the council first as we live in a maisonette and laminate flooring can cause noise and disturb the other neighbours.

New phone.

I was due a upgrade Thursday just gone, I'm with o2. I have been looking at phones since January and was looking at windows phone so I can play xbox games on the go, but they are Nokia models and they haven't been any good for years. Then I was looking at the HTC as my previous one was a HTC and know they was good, but I was downgrading my phone for a cheaper tariff. So I decided on the Samsung galaxy s4 mini in black mist.

I have never had a Samsung phone before, my partner has but it was when we first started dating and I wasn't all keen on it, but I find HTC and Samsung are very similar and they both android phones. I didn't want an iPhone either as I have had one of them and I am not all big fan of them. They are expensive for what they are and look more for a child.

I ordered the phone Thursday and came yesterday, so I haven't really played with it yet. Plus not having boardband in my new house yet can't really do online stuff as I only have 500mb a month I can't do much. But so far of the phone it'd good. But once I start using it more I will definitely do a better review on it.

The Meat Loaf Story

Yesterday I went to the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham with some family members to watch the Meat Loaf story. I thought it was good. Even though it was the same band that did vampires rock, it was still good, I just dont like the singers voice.

We was expecting it to be a story about Meat Loaf when it was no story really, just mainly had Meat Loaf songs with the tiniest amount of cheesy acting. But other than that it was more enjoyable than vampires rock.

We are in.

So last week we got the keys, the weekend we move into our new place. It is quite nice and very quiet, even when you hear the neighbours, including the ones above its not too bad. Its very nice.

If I wanted to go for a walk I have the Woodgate country park on my doorstep. So don't have to touch the road which is lovely.

We have loads to decorate and everyone saying you won't get it done all at once and its like of course we won't. I think people think we expect it to be done in a day, but we know it may take months.

But I am loving my own place. Can get a little lonely at times without someone to have a proper conversation while my partner is had work but other than that its perfect for now.
