Keys

So I got the keys Tuesday, we are hoping to move in fully on Saturday, we have been painting the doors and ceiling and stated the walls, we are not going to finish decorating before we move, but both me and my partner wants to move in as soon as possible as it be better as we will have our own space.

Get a washing machine coming tomorrow too from currys, I can not wait, it's a gadget for me, haha. My dad will be fitting it up tomorrow for me hopefully so I can start using it. I am going to do a review on it after I have used it a couple of times.

If anyone want me to blog about something let me, sometimes I haven't got a clue what to blog about.

Water baby

Sunday, me and my mother took Tyler swimming, while my partner watch. Tyler loved it, it was is first time and he was in their for a good 20-30 minutes. I even dunked him under the wonder to see how he react, he was unsure but he didn't cry. I just let him float most the keeping his head up. I did bounce him up and down in the water which he loved and was smiling. I wanted my partner to take pictures of us, but for obvious reason he couldn't as there was other children there and the parents and staff could have thought he was taking pictures of other children as well.

We went to harborne swimming baths and we went into the learner pool. The only down fall of it the learner pool people can watch from the window where the entrance is, and I felt like any old creep could just sit there and watch the children, but then again they could do that where the spectator sits. On the other hand it was good. The changing rooms are cubicles where everyone uses, and their is one baby changing room whic is annoying and there is a family room but we didn't go in there.

  • Glad Tyler enjoyed it, I can't wait to go again.

Barry M Silk

So Barry M has brought out a new collection of nail varnish, I javent used nail polish for a while as I haven't had time with looking after Tyler and trying to get a place to live etc, I don't think I will have the time for a while now, however I really like the look of this collection. So I am hoping and paying that I could get some as the colours looks so nice for spring.
This is what barry M has said on their website about them.
"Silk's beautiful matte sheen gives nails a luxurious, chic finish. In a collection of pretty pastel shades inspired by nature, it's the perfect polish for a fresh take on Spring."
I really like the look of the green and blue.

Wide feet

So I brought these boots the day before the photoshoot as I wanted to get some nice footwear to wear instead of scruffy pink converse with holes in. I had to get a size 5, however my feet are actually size 2 and 2 and 1/2, but I have really wide toe area, so I always have to go up a couple of sizes, but since having Tyler, I have had to up an extra size.

But I real love these boots, the heel is the right size for as I am not a heel fan and I normal just wear my scruffy pink trainers. I love the studs on the boots, great walking in for every day wear. I don't keep my feet out of them unless I am at home. They are only £22 too which I thought was a good price. I got them from George at ASDA.

On the move

So I currently live with my parents and Tyler. Me and Tyler go and stay with my partner, his daddy, couple of days a week we have been doing that since he was born. I have been on council list for the past year for a property and we have finally got one, we had to say yes as we was 1st and we was on the homeless application, but it's a cute ground floor maisonette, facing the fields and not the road.

I am really looking forward to it, don't get the keys till Tuesday after an interview to talk about paying for the property and other things like insurance and what benefits we can get, which we are thinking it will nothing as my partner works full time and I'm currently on maternity leave, hoping not to go back to work until Tyler is 3 and hoping it will be part time. But I am hoping by then I have set up a little business selling my crafts and earning enough money just to live off.

I can not wait to move in. Will be showing decor once it is complete however it will probably be while before then.

Can you believe it?

Tomorrow my little Tyler will be 6 months old. It has gone quick, however it also feels like he has been there for ages too. He was born 7Ibs 11oz, I got him weighed yesterday at my drop in clinic, and now he weighs 20Ibs 5oz. He is certainly a big boy. I also. Got him measured as the health visitor thought he was long which he is. His length was 52cms when born, but his length now is 71cms.

I started weaning him last week too. At the moment mainly on jars, as my partners mom brought us some for Christmas. Plus for nowit is easier as I keep going backwards and forwards to my partner's house (he lives with his family) and my parents house. However hopefully next week we will have our own place and when we officially move him I am going to give him what we have. So I can not wait for that. I have been giving him dinner so far, from Sunday going to give him breakfast too, get him on two meals for 2 weeks and then in 2 weeks time give him 3 meals.

I would have started him tomorrow with breakfast, however my mom has booked me, Tyler and my partner for a family photoshoot, a Christmas present and I suggested to have it tomorrow as Tyler is 6 months. However we both have cold, so hoping we feel better for tomorrow, but I doubt.

Tyler can sit for a short time without any support. He has also rolled a few times from front to back, but don't happens much. He is also copying sounds what we make and I say yeah quite a lot to him and he started saying it one point at then right times, which was funny, but he has not said for a couple of weeks now. He has been blowing raspberries. No teeth as of yet, but he is teething.

I'm so proud of him, can not wait to see more milestones.

Here he is in his jumperoo which I took today.
